RMDC asks that you please dress appropriately for all dance classes.  Please see the dress code below. Thank you.


Hair must be secured off the neck and away from the face, preferably in a bun. 

  • Ballerina Belles - Ballet Combo - Any Skirt and Leo Combo
  • Ballet 3, 4, 5, & 6 - Black Leotard & Pink Tights
  • Ballet 3, 4, 5, & 6 - Hair in a bun holder

Upper level ballet students MUST purchase a pink or black bun holder to secure their hair back.  We have them for sale at the front desk at a nominal price. 


Clothing you can move in.  No Jeans. Black dance sneakers for hip-hop, Black tap shoes,  and white clogging shoes.


Hair up off neck.  It is best to have the hair gathered low or in pig tails. Tank leotards with biker shorts or dance shorts. No tights.


Any leotard and skirt combination, jazz pants are OK for jazz and tap. 

Shoes for respective discipline.   


Hair up. Leotards, dance pants, modest dress. Tights or biker shorts under dance shorts. No half tops and no short shorts. Hot shorts are OK if leotard and tights are worn underneath. DANCE t-shirts OK. 

No shoes are required for Modern I and Modern II.
All jazz students must wear black jazz shoes.  Jazz 5 students must have black pedinis and/or black character shoes.


Comfortable clothes that you can move in.  Dark colors are preferred.
